The head of the graphics team is Mia Lockhart. A senior majoring in graphic design, she has been with the paper for several semesters. A fun fact about her is that when she’s not on campus she’s likely to be at home riding her ATV.
Alli Westbrook is our social media manager. She is a junior communications major, with a concentration in mass media, and a minor in marketing. After graduating, she plans on working in sports media, either as a social media manager or director of content. A fun fact about her is that she loves football.
Avery Beaton is the editor, and this marks her second semester in this role. She is a senior studying communication and minoring in theatre. After graduating, she plans on pursuing a career in journalism, with a goal of writing about theater. A fun fact about her is that she did Irish step dance for 11 years.
Copyeditor Alina Zakharova is a senior English major. After graduating, she hopes to enter the publishing industry. A fun fact about her is that she can speak Russian.
Brandi Shuler is our assistant editor. A senior English major, she has many goals post-graduation. She is looking into the publishing industry, journalism, writing, or becoming an ASL interpreter. A fun fact about her is that she is currently engaged and hoping to get married in the fall. She has also been published in USC Upstate’s literary magazine, Persimmon Creek.
