Baseball season is in full swing, and the anticipation grows as USC Upstate looks to have another successful season. With a tough non-conference schedule, they are currently sitting at around a .500 average, which is a sign of promising conference play.

On Wednesday, March 19th, the Spartans Baseball Team will take on the Wofford Terriers at Fluor Field in Downtown Greenville. The matchup is shaking out to be a good one, as the Terriers also have a solid non-conference record.

The game is set to take place at 6:00pm, with the Spartans being the designated road team for the night.

When sophomore catcher Tyler Lang talked about the experience he said, “Playing at Fluor is just different. Getting to play at a pro park is a really cool experience. The field is beautiful, and the fans are electric. It is a really fun game for us.”

This will be the Spartans second visit to Greenville in 2025, as they faced a tough opponent in the Clemson Tigers in early March. They took a pitcher’s duel into the ninth inning against the 11th ranked team in the country and out hit the Tigers overall. This 6,700-seat stadium is home to Greenville Drive, the High-A Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.

General Admission Tickets can be bought on the Greenville Drive website for around $10.00 each.

Fluor Field is a host to several high school and college games before their Opening Day in Greenville.
