Calling all Exercise Science Majors! The College of Education, Human Performance, and Health is hosting a series of events in the coming weeks to aid students in a job or internship opportunity.
On Friday, March 21st, the department will be doing a Professional Workshop to prepare future graduates with tools to make an impression during the Career Fair. The Professional Workshop will be held in the College of Arts and Sciences Building (CASB) Room 101 from 9:00am-10:00am.
A week after, on Friday, March 28th, will be the second annual Exercise Science Career/Grad Fair. This event will take place in the Campus Life Center (CLC) Ballroom, which is located on the 3rd floor, and will run from 9:00am-11:00am.
Students are encouraged to dress professionally, bring résumé copies, as well as business cards if applicable.
The organizer and Exercise Science Advisor Natalie Sweeney has lined up several graduate schools, companies, and organizations who are actively looking to recruit members. Sweeney said, “Achieving greater heights in health and wellness—our Exercise Science Career and Graduate Fair connects passionate individuals with opportunities to shape the future of fitness and care.”
Current Junior Exercise Science Major, Kimberly Dovi, recounted her experience last year saying, “I loved it! The different grad schools and job places were very helpful and educational to tell me about what they offer and how they can help.”

Even if students are unsure of their career path, they are encouraged to come to meet people from a wide variety of backgrounds and career paths!
