The energy is high at USC Upstate, as the campus prepares for Homecoming Week, which will take place from Monday, February 10th through Saturday, February 15th.

As per tradition, Homecoming Week is capped off with a double header for both the Spartans’ Men’s and Women’s Basketball Programs.

The G.B. Hodge Center will play host to the Gardner-Webb University Runnin’ Bulldogs. The Women’s game will tip-off at 12:00pm, with the Homecoming Crowning to take place at halftime of this game. The Men’s team will follow, starting at 3:00pm, recognizing the new Hall of Fame class, and featuring a halftime performance by Kid’s Club of the Upstate.

Both Upstate teams look to secure a win over a closely located opponent, who played the Spartans during their HoopsComing Week.

Redshirt Sophomore Vera Söderblom and her team are excited for this game saying, “It’s a great opportunity for us. It’s a big week at Upstate and we’re excited to both be able to play at home and pack the Hodge with great energy.”

Both the Men’s and Women’s Programs are wrapping up Big South Conference play and look to end on a hot streak as they enter the Big South Conference Tournament taking place from March 5th-March 9th in Johnson City, Tennessee.

All USC Upstate students are able to claim a free ticket to both Homecoming games here. Students from other colleges as well can buy tickets at Will Call for $5 each. All other fans can visit Ticket Return, the Official Ticketing Partner of USC Upstate Athletics.
